COVID-19 - Dear Valued Employees, Clients and Vendors Ducan Industries Inc. is here for our employees, our clients, our vendors and our community.  We have built a COVID-19 action plan to help prevent the spread of this global pandemic and to continue to provide the service you have come to expect from our team. To manage the risk, we are implementing the following operational changes until more updates from the Public Health Agency of Canada and Alberta Health Services are released:  Although the office will be open to the public, we appreciate all transactions being done by credit card or interact only.  Our manufacturing plant remains open and we will be shipping and receiving as usual.  We are asking our vendors that pick up or deliver to follow proper distancing, wear gloves and limit contact in as many ways as possible.  We are limiting all in-person meetings.  If possible, we encourage meetings to be conducted via conference or video call.  We are keeping a close eye on our supply chain and workforce and are currently working to keep all promised delivery dates.  As this may change from day to day, we will be contacting clients as we are advised of anything that may change our scheduled dates.  We have reviewed the recommended 14-day self-isolation for any of our employees who have travelled outside the country, have been exposed to any one diagnosed with COVID-19 or are experiencing any of the symptoms of the illness – fever, muscle aches, dry cough. Our employees have been educated on safe hygiene practises both in and outside of our business.  Vendors please help us by making sure delivery items are sanitized properly and the delivery person has the proper equipment to protect themselves during their delivery. By taking these precautions, we hope to do our part in helping contain the spread of COVID-19 and protect the vulnerable and high-risk individuals within our community.  We recognize this is a unique situation and encourage everyone to approach it with sensitivity, understanding and respect.  Although we promote distancing, we encourage everyone to remain in contact daily with friends and family.  Isolate physically but not socially.
