Ducan Industries offers a wide range of products for the Recreational Vehicle Industry. Producing product from our own manufacturing facilities, we provide a number of upholstered products which are luxuriously and expertly crafted using top quality “straight from the mill” fabrics.

Our own craftsmen produce Ducan frames using the finest hand-selected, kiln dried, 5/4 inch hardwood in order to prevent cracking or warping. Heavy gauged Sinuous Steel Springs are used to provide deep seating comfort. Leggett and Platt recliner mechanisms and Heavy-Duty Sleeper mechanisms are used. Luxurious high resilient foam wrapped in Ducan’s own virgin polyester fibre will give you the utmost in performance and comfort.

Experienced staff and journeyman welders create a wide variety of metal frames for Ducan’s further processing. We manufacture our metal frames using 14 gauge and 16 gauge ERW tubing, which is shaped by our hydraulically actuated computerized bending machine. We are able to produce products that meet Department of Transport Motor Vehicle Safety Codes.

Heavy gauge Sinuous Steel Springs or nylon seating systems are used to provide deep seating comfort. Industry leading suppliers of automatic locking and reclining mechanisms are used to provide long lasting reliable performance. High-density polyurethane foam is wrapped in Ducan’s own virgin polyester fibre and upholstered using luxurious, durable fabrics fire rated to D.O.T. specifications where required.

Bedding Products Include:

By being able to manufacture our own coils, Ducan Industries is able to produce any size and shape of mattress that is required. From peaked and beveled ends, to single or double corner cuts, to non-standard length and width, we can satisfy your requirements. We use 13 gauge and 13 ½ gauge wire to make a 312 coil count core (based on double) and encase it in 6 or 8 gauge border wire; all cores are tempered in our heat chamber to ensure high performance of our mattresses. The core base is then put together using a ½” x ½” flexnet grid system to prevent sagging of cushioning materials into the coils. A felt insulator pad is used to provide base support and then varying combinations of garnetted cotton and high density space-age foam is used to provide custom comfort and luxury. Two quilting machines, including our newest addition – a wide width (126”) machine – can produce all of your “on the bed” requirements. Ducan’s own virgin polyester quilt fibre, produced in various weights, is combined with many mill-direct fabrics to produce many variations of bedspreads, duvets, and pillow shams. Our own Ducan pillow fibre provides lofty and resilient comfort for our pillows as well. Being in control of the process once again allows us to meet your non-standard requirements.

Various styles of valances are available from soft pocket valances, to hard wood upholstered, fibre and foam padded valances. Curtains using different fabrics and construction allow you to control the amount of light that will enter the coach. We also have a line of blinds available to offer you.
